Copying the titles from one MD to another
(Title station)
You can copy the disc and track titles from one MD to another MD with
the same number of tracks. Any group information on the original disc is
also copied.
Preparation:
Press [q/h MD] to select “MD” as the source and press [g STOP/
CANCEL].
1 Insert the MD with the title.
2 While stopped
Press [EDIT MODE] to select “TITLE ST.?”.
Each time you press the button:
TRACK ERASE?
/ ALL ERASE? / MOVE?
GROUP?
, TITLE ST.? , COMBINE?
When the disc is write-protected, only “TITLE ST.?” is displayed.
3 Press [ENTER].
4 Press [ENTER].
“TITLE MEMORY” is displayed when the unit is copying the titles,
then “COMPLETE”
/ “EJECT MD” is displayed.
5 Press [EJECT ;] to eject the MD.
6 Insert the other MD.
7 When “Writing OK?” appears on the display
Press [ENTER] to start copying.
Copying is complete after “UTOC Writing” and “” stop
flashing on the display.
To cancel part way through
Press [g STOP/CANCEL].
¡ You cannot copy titles from playback MDs.
¡ You can only copy titles if both MDs have the same number of tracks.
¡ The unit can only copy the titles from one MD.
¡ The title will be lost from the unit’s memory if the unit is turned off.
¡ Any titles already on the other MD will be replaced by this operation.
¡ “LP:” is added to the beginning of titles recorded with LP2 or LP4. This
means that when you copy the titles of such tracks, even tracks
recorded with SP mode will have “LP:” at the beginning of the title.
