The accompaniment patter ns below produce metro nome
sounds only, without a bass or chord part. Thi s is true even if
you finger a chor d.
Generally, the prog ress of a musica l piece starts with an
intro, transitions to verses that are intersp ersed with
interludes and other changes, and the n returns to the main
theme before reaching an ending. The Digital Piano’s Auto
Accompaniment function provides a selection of
accompaniment pat terns that are suited to the progress of a
musical composition.
■ Normal and Variation
This is an accompanimen t pattern that can be used in the
verse or chorus of a p iece. A variation repeats anywhere
from one measure to multiple measures.
■ Fill-in
These accompaniment patterns are used to inser t short one-
or two-measure fill-ins into a p iece. A fill-in pattern starts to
play as soon as you touch one of the fill-in but tons (see
below). Accompaniment play returns to the or iginal normal
or variation pat tern from beat one after the one- or two-
measure fill-in is comp lete.
■ Intro
This is an accompanimen t pattern that can be used at the
beginning of a song. Normal accompaniment pattern play
will start after the measures of the intro accompaniment
pattern is complete.
■ Ending
This is an accompanimen t pattern that can be used at the
end of a pie ce. After a multiple-measure ending sounds,
Auto Accomp animent ends.
Use the procedure below to configure the Digital Piano to
start Auto Accomp animent play as soo n as you press a
keyboard key.
