Battery recharge

R Battery charge is low. Fully charge the battery (page 10).
I fully charged the battery, but

– the operating time seems to
be shorter.
R Clean the battery end ( , ) and the charge contacts
with a dry cloth and charge again.
R It is time to replace the battery (page 10).
R The battery power consumption is increased and the
battery life is reduced when the Bluetooth feature is
turned on. Turn the Bluetooth setting off (page 36) if you
want to save the battery life.
Making/answering calls

Noise is heard, sound cuts in
and out.
R You are using the phone in an area with high electrical
interference. Move to a location away from sources of
interference.
R The GSM network signal is weak. Check the current
status and move to a new location until more bars are
visible (page 13).
The phone does not ring. R The ringer volume is turned off. Adjust ringer volume
(page 26).
R Night mode is on. Turn it off (page 34).
R The ringer is set to ring at the Bluetooth headset. Change
the setting (page 36).
I cannot make a call. R The phone is not in a GSM network service coverage
area. Check the current status and move to a new
location until more bars are visible (page 13).
R Outgoing calls are barred. Deactivate the outgoing call
bar settings (page 30).
R Your call is withheld. Change the show my ID setting to a
setting other than “Off” (page 27).
R The key lock is on. Unlock it (page 15).
R Fixed dialling feature is enabled (page 24). Disable it.
