OPERATION
- ACTIVATE
First, you have to switch on the device. The ON/OFF switch for
the treadmill is located next to the power cable on the back
side of the motor cover. Turn this switch into the "ON" position.
- SAFETY KEY
Check if the safety key at the treadmill and the clip at your clo-
thes are secured. The safety key has been developed to discon-
nect the power supply if you should fall on the treadmill. Thus,
the safety key has been designed in such a way that it immedia-
tely stops the treadmill. At high speed, it can be uncomfortable
and also dangerous if the treadmill stops immediately. Thus, use
the safety key for an emergency stop only. To stop the treadmill
during the training session safely, comfortably and completely
under normal conditions, you should use the STOP button. If the
safety key is not put into the respective lock at the treadmill, a
"key symbol" will be displayed in the DOT matrix.
- ENTER AND LEAVE THE TREADMILL
Be careful when entering or leaving the treadmill. Try to use the
handrails when entering or leaving the treadmill. Do not stand
on the treadmill when preparing the use of the treadmill.
Spread your feet and put them on the two side platforms next to
the running surface. Put your feet on the treadmill only if it has
started moving at constant speed. For your own safety, only
enter the treadmill if it is not running faster than 2 km/h.
Always look to the front during the training sessions. Never try
to turn around on the treadmill as long as the treadmill is activa-
ted. After having finished your training session, you can stop
the treadmill by pressing the STOP button. Wait until the tread-
mill has stopped completely before trying to leave the treadmill.
If you feel uncertain with the speed and if you are not sure how
to stop the treadmill, hold the handrails, lift your feet from the
treadmill and put them on the side platforms next to the tread-
mill. These side platforms are an appropriate position to relax
before starting the training again. For your own safety and com-
fort, always start your training sessions at low speed.
Operational readiness
After having switched on the device and after having put in the
safety key, the treadmill is ready for use. You can choose bet-
ween different programs or you can start the treadmill directly.
The operational readiness of the treadmill will be displayed with
the flashing heart symbol in the DOT matrix.
MANUAL PROGRAM
Press the START key after having switched on the device and
after having put in the safety key. After three seconds, the tread-
mill will be started with a speed of 0.8 km/h (0.5 mph). You
can accelerate/decelerate the speed or you can
increase/decrease the degree of inclination at any time during
your training session. To finish your training session, you have
to press the STOP key to stop the treadmill. When starting the
training session manually, the time will be counted up. When
performing a training session with the other programs except
for the training program P2 DISTANCE, the time will be counted
down.
During the training session, a "track" will be displayed in the
DOT matrix.
1.Switch on the device.
2.Secure the safety key at the treadmill and the clip at your clothes.
3.Press the START key to start your training session.
TRAINING PROGRAMS P1 and P2
The user of the treadmill has the opportunity to perform individu-
al training sessions by setting up training goals for the time and
the distance. As soon as the device has been switched on and
the safety key has been securely locked, you can press the PRO-
GRAM button to select the program P1 or P2. The TIME display
shows the program number, and the DOT matrix displays the
"TIME" or the "DISTANCE" for the respective program. The pro-
gram P1 sets up the training goal on the basis of the time, and
the program P2 sets up the training goal on the basis of the
distance. If the user can set up a program individually, the pre-
set value (or the previously entered value) will be flashing and
shows that you can either confirm the flashing value or that you
can change the value. The treadmill will be started as soon as
you have entered and confirmed your values. During the trai-
ning session, a "track" will be displayed in the DOT matrix. If
the time or the distance of the training session has been counted
down, the treadmill will be stopped automatically and the DOT
matrix displays "END".
1.Switch on the device.
2.Secure the safety key at the treadmill and the clip at your clothes.
3.Press the PROGRAM button once for P1 = target time or press
the PROGRAM button twice for P2 = target distance.
4.Press the ENTER button to confirm the selected program.
5.Use the INCLINE buttons (+) and (-) or the SPEED buttons (+)
