Hint: You can additionally, both in the basic version as in the more diffi-
cult versions, make use of the category cards (professions, animals, in-
struments, fruits, vegetables). These cards are shuffled and placed face
down in a pile in the center of the table. The youngest player uncovers the
top category card. Then he uncovers the top letter card. Then the players
have to name either one or write down five words of the category in ques-
tion and with the right first letter.
The players decide together if they want to change the category card af-
ter each round or if they want to continue with the pile of letter cards and
the same category until all letters have been played.
Hint: The six spare cards included can be used to write down your own
categories.
The other players may finish writing down their word but may not start
writing down a new one. The player who finished first then reads out the
words.
He only gets the letter card if all five words really exist and are spelled
correctly. If not, the other players can read out the words they had written
down, up until the moment they were stopped. If a player has more cor-
rect words than the one who finished the round, he gets the letter card. If
several players have the same amount of correct words, the letter card is
withdrawn from the game.
Hint: To check whether certain words really exist and how they are spelled,
you can use a spelling dictionary.
