Whoever can think of a word beginning with the uncovered letter first,
slams his hand on the letter card and says the word out loud.
As a reward he gets the letter card and may uncover the next card. If
nobody can think of any word with the first letter looked for, the letter card
is withdrawn from the game.
Variation II (age 8+)
Game is prepared as described above. Additionally, the players need pencils
and paper.
In this variation all the players have to write down five words as quickly
as possible beginning with the uncovered letter. Whoever finishes first,
shouts “stop!” and slams his hand on the uncovered letter card.
End of the game:
Once the pile with the letter cards has been used up, the game ends.
Whoever has collected the most letter cards, wins the game.
Variation I (age 8+)
Game preparation as described above.The oldest player uncovers the letter
card on top.
Watch out: The card has to be uncovered in such a way that all the
players see the letter simultaneously so that nobody has an advantage!
