Signal reception
Acoustic signals can be picked up by the amplifier in four different ways:
1. The acoustic signals are picked up by the built-in microphone, whereby the
operating mode selector in the battery compartment must be set to
»M« (factory default setting for the
Crescendo 50
).
2. Acoustic signals from television sets or other audio devices can be picked
up by the plug-in microphone included with the system. Simply plug this
microphone into the microphone jack. (If an external microphone is used, the
built-in microphone will be switched off automatically.) In addition, the opera-
ting mode selector in the battery compartment must be set to »M«.
3. Audio signals can also be picked up by a stereo/audio cable. In this case,
the operating mode selector in the battery compartment must be set to »A«.
Connect the audio cable with the
Crescendo 50
and the audio source (e.g.
television set).
4. To pick up signals from an induction loop system, the operating mode selec-
tor in the battery compartment must be set to »T«. Please note that any
microphone connected must be disconnected first.
