Operating principle
The
Crescendo 50
uses either the built-in microphone or the external micropho-
ne to pick up acoustic signals, amplifies them and emits them via the headpho-
ne jack. The amplifier is equipped with a pick up coil which enables you to
receive signals from an inductive loop system.
Inserting batteries
The amplifier is operated with 2 AA batteries (Type LR6 or AA).
The battery compartment is located at the back of the amplifier.
To insert the batteries:
1. To open the battery compartment, press the tab against the cover and then
lift the cover.
2. Insert the two batteries according to the polarity marks.
3. Close the battery compartment.
WARNING: The sound output levels from this system can be very high. It is
recommended that the volume control should be turned to the »OFF« posi-
tion before changing the battery or plugging in or unplugging the headpho-
nes or microphone.
