B efore was hi ng for the first tim e
Do not load any laun dry into the machin e. Turn on the tap. Add the followin g to compartment II:
– ap prox. 1 litre water
– deter gen t (dosag e accor ding to the manufactur er's instructions for light soiling and the appropriate degree of water
hardnes s) Set the prog ramme selecto r to EASY CARE 60 °C and select START/ PAUSE . At the end of the
programme, tu rn the pr ogramme selecto r to OFF.

– L ook out for m etal item s (paperclips , etc.).
– Wash delicates in a la undry bag (tights, curta ins, underwire d bras).
– F asten zips, do up an y buttons.

progr amme, or s elect a differen t programme.

4. Attach th e ins ert and en gage (con nect th e cylinder to the guid e pin).
5. Push in the dete rgent dr awer.
Leave th e dete rgent drawe r open so that any residua l water can
evapo rate.

Turn the p rogramm e selec tor to OFF , d isconnect th e main s plug.
1. O pen and re move the ser vice flap.
2. R em ove the d rainage hose from it s holder.
Rem ove the s ealing c ap and a llow the solution to d rain o ut.
Put the seali ng cap bac k in p lace.
3. U nscre w the p ump cov er carefully (residual w ater).
4. C le an the inter ior, pump cover th read and pump h ousing
(the impe ller in the dete rgent s olution pump mu st rotate).
5. P ut t he pump c over back in plac e and screw it t ight. The han dle
shoul d stand vertically. Insert the d rainage hose into its holde r.
6. R efit th e servi ce flap an d close i t.
To preve nt dete rgent from flowing down th e drain unused dur ing the next wa sh c ycle:
pour 1 litre of water in to c ompartme nt II and sta rt the É (Em pty) progr amme.
