4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Automatic Operation
When the pump is lowered into the water and the power
is switched on, it will start to operate as soon as the flo-
ating switch reaches the minimum activation height in the
water.
Remember: The pump must be carried by, and placed
in the water using the carry handle or if the water is deep,
be lowered on a rope tied to the carry handle.
Manual Operation
Where manual operation is preferred, the motor can be
activated by raising the floating switch by hand (ON) or
lowering it by hand (OFF).
Ensure the distance between the float switch and
the latch holder is not to small as to restrict the up
and down movement of the float switch.
