The brake cable of the parking brake can be adjusted using the brake cable spanner. Screwing the nut
upwards causes the cable to slacken. Screwing the nut downwards causes the cable to tighten.
WARNING The Bugaboo Frog is fitted with a parking brake. This must only be used
when the Bugaboo Frog is motionless, NEVER when it is in motion.
WARNING The shoes of the Bugaboo Frog parking brake can wear out as a result of
extended or incorrect use. You should check them regularly. You can pur-
chase replacement brake shoes from the shop where you bought your
Bugaboo Frog.
WARNING Always put the parking brake on when parking the Bugaboo Frog.
WARNING Ensure that the Bugaboo Frog parking brake is pulled on properly.
H USING THE BUGABOO FROG IN TOWN, IN THE WOODS
AND ON THE BEACH
To understand the various ways of using the Bugaboo Frog in town, in the woods and on the beach you
should read the diagrams and text below in sequence.
Using the Bugaboo Frog in town (four-wheel position)

When using the Bugaboo Frog in town we advise you to have the pushing handle on the same side as the
large wheels and the swivel hub locks in the middle position. See diagram G2. This gives the Bugaboo
Frog maximum manoeuvrability and enables you to negotiate pavements with ease. To place the pushing
handle over the large wheels, pull the two release knobs on the inside of it towards you to release it, then
pull it across. Do not exert force on the handle while operating the knobs.
Using the Bugaboo Frog in the woods (four-wheel position)

When using the Bugaboo Frog in the woods you should have the pushing handle over the swivel hubs.
This puts the large wheels in front and enables you to negotiate bumps with ease. When using the
Bugaboo Frog in the woods we advise you to lock the two swivel hubs by fully raising the locking handles.
See diagram G1. To place the pushing handle over the swivel hubs, pull the two release knobs on the
inside of it towards you to release it, then pull it across. See diagram H1. Do not exert force on the handle
while operating the knobs.
Using the Bugaboo Frog on the beach or other difficult terrain (two-wheel position)

When using the Bugaboo Frog on rough or hilly ground or on the beach you can place the chassis in the
two-wheel drive position. To do this, first remove the seat from the chassis and lock the swivel hubs. The
pushing handle should be over the swivel hubs. When using the buggy on the beach, the swivel hubs
become extremely dirty. You are advised to remove the swivel hubs when using the buggy in the two-
wheel drive position

Once you have pulled the handle over, push the crossbar between the swivel hubs down until you hear
a click.

You can now place the seat on the chassis in the two-wheel drive position.

When the buggy is in the two-wheel drive position, the seat can only face one way.

Lateral stability is substantially reduced in the two-wheel drive position. Take care not to let the Bugaboo
Frog fall over when using it this way on rough terrain.
WARNING Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
WARNING Note that the seat is not reversible in the two-wheel drive position.
WARNING We advise you not to use two-wheel drive with the cot, as the child cannot be
secured to it with the harness.
