♦ Choose the downloading source (use the 5 and 6keys, then press OK to enter) :
• ALL SATELLITES the search for a downloadable version is run on all the satellites of your
installation
• WHOLE SATELLITE : the search for a downloadable version is run on a single satellite which you
will specify (use the 3 and 4 keys, then press OK to enter).
• TRANSPONDER : the search for a downloadable version is run on a transponder, the parameters of
which you will need to specify (select the name of the satellite with the 3 and 4 keys, then enter the
frequency, the rate and the polarisation of the transponder on which the download flow is located.
Press OK to enter.
• DOWNLOAD PCMCIA : the search for a downloadable version is run on a transponder, the
parameters of which you will need to specify (select the name of the satellite with the 3 and 4 keys,
then enter the frequency, the rate and the polarisation of the transponder on which the download
flow is located. Press OK to enter.
In the first three cases, when the search has been completed, a list of one or several download flows is
displayed in a window. Select the valid flow (use 5 and 6) then start the search with SAVE. This will last
for several minutes, then your appliance will start again.
With the PCMCIA module, after pressing OK, you go directly to the download menu of the module. Then
follow the menus.
12.2 AUTOMATIC DETECTION
While the XENA is on stand-by, the appliance systematically makes a search for download flows compatible with
your appliance. If a new application is detected, you will be notified when you quit the stand-by mode. You can
accept this new application (which will be downloaded automatically during the next stand-by) or choose to
download it at another moment.In this case, use the manual download menus (see 12.1)
