5 - Scan through the list of channels using the 5 and 6 keys. Some of the channels provide supplementary
information, indicated by a blinking INFO+. Press I+ to access this information.
6 - To select another channel, press R. Recommence the operations from step 4 on.
d) Programming XENA using the programme guide
When you have obtained the list of programmes corresponding to the theme and the period desired, as indicated
above, you can programme one of these in order for it to be added directely to the VCR programmes list (see Ch.9).
To do so :
- In the list of programmes obtained after searching with TvG, select the programme you wish to
record (use 5 and 6 keys, the press OK)
If the programme selected has already started, if a recording is also programmed at the time indicated or if the
maximum number of programmes (8) has been reached, an error message will indicate that the operation is
impossible.
- You will be asked to confirm the recording : select CONFIRM (or CANCEL if you do not wish to go
ahead with the recording). A logo appears beside the name of the programme to be recorded.
- You can cancel a recording by selecting the programme you have preselected,with 5 and 6, then pressing
OK; you will then be asked if you wish to cancel.
The programme selected will be automatically added to the list of recordings (to go to this list, see Ch.9). Make sure
that you also programme your video recorder.
- To quit the Programme Guide, press R several times, until the main menu appears.
11. INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR TERMINAL
You will find useful information about your XENA terminal:
- In the MAIN MENU, select OPTIONS, then TERMINAL INFORMATION.
- You will be provided with the numbers of software and hardware versions of your XENA.
12. UPDATING YOUR XENA AND YOUR PCMCIA MODULES
♦ In order for you to be able to develop the performance of your XENA, a download menu is provided for updating
by satellite, as well as for the PCMCIA modules. A new valid application can be detected either by the user, at
will, or automatically when the terminal is on stand-by.
