b) FOR MOTORISED DISH INSTALLATIONS
♦ In the INSTALLATION menu, select AUTOMATIC SEARCH.
♦ If you wish to memorise the channels on all the active satellites, select ON ALL SATELLITES. The
installation will commence immediately after you have pressed the OK button again. When it is
complete, save your new programme base by pressing the SAVE button.
The installation is entirely automatic. It is therefore important to check the signal level of each active
satellite when aligning your dish,.
You can interrupt the installation at any moment by pessing the OK button, then R.
During search “ON ALL SATELLITES”, the previous programme base will be entirely deleted.
♦ If you wish to make a search on one satellite only, select ON ONE SATELLITE. The installation will
commence immediately after you have pressed the OK button again. When it is complete, save your
new programme base by pressing the SAVE button.
IMPORTANT NOTE : if you move from a fixed dish installation to a motorised dish installation, or
vice versa, your programme base will be deleted automatically.
Your XENA is now ready for use. You have direct access to video by pressing the Q button. Then press
LIST and select the channel your desire, by scanning through the various windows using the 3,4,5 and 5
keys, then press OK to enter.
5.6 ADDING AND UPDATING BOUQUETS
This menu is used to add or delete transponders from the main list and to update them : :
♦ In the MAIN MENU, select INSTALLATION.
♦ Then select UPDATING BOUQUETS
a) TO ADD A NEW BOUQUET
♦ Press ADD (RED button)
♦ To add a digital transponder, select TRANSPONDER
♦ Once you have chosen the satellite, enter the different parameters relative to the digital transponder :
frequency, rate and polarisation and eventually SKEW, if you use a Wide Band LNB with a magnetic
polariser (use the keys 3,4,5 and 6 and the alphanumerical keypad to enter the frequencies and the
rates).
♦ Press OK to launch the aquisition. After a few second, the new programmes will be displayed in the
right-hand window. Then press OK again.
♦ You can then choose to save your new programmes using SAVE or to carry out another search using
ADD.
