Manual range selection „RANGE“
Auto Range is always active by standard. This displayed by „AUTO“. With the
RANGE key (13) the range can also be selected manually. By pressing the RANGE
key, you manually switch to the measuring range. In to switch back to automatic
range selection, press theRANGE key forapprox. 2seconds until „AUTO“ appears
onthedisplay. Thisfunction is not possibleincurrentmeasurementranges, during
the diode test and the acoustic continuitycheck.
Maintenance and Cleaning
General
To ensure the accuracy of the multimeter overan extended period of time, it should
be calibrated once a year.
Apartfrom occasionalcleaning andfuse replacements,the multimeterrequires no
servicing.
Information on changing the battery and fuse appears below.

Regularly check the technicalsafety of the instrument and mea-
suring lines, e.g. check for damage to the housing or squeezing
etc.
Cleaning
Alwaysobserve thefollowingsafety instructionsbefore cleaning thedevice:

Live components may be exposed if covers are opened orparts
are removed (unless this can be done without tools).
The connectedlinesmustbe disconnectedfromthemeasuring
deviceandallmeasuring objects prior to cleaning or repairing
the device. Switch off the measuring device.
