- After measuring,remove themeasuringadapter fromthemeasuringdevice and
turn the measuring device off. Turn the rotary switch to „OFF“.
REL function
The REL function allows a reference value measurement to balance possible line
losses suchaswithresistancemeasurements orresiduemagnetismofthecurrent
sensor. For this purpose, thecurrent indicated value is set to zero.A new reference
value is set.
Press theREL key(8) toactivate thismeasuring function.„REL“ appearson thedis-
play.
In order to deactivate this function, press the REL key again and the REL display
will disappear.
HOLD function
- With the HOLD function the current measurement value can be „frozen“ on the dis-
play.
- By pressingtheHOLDkey (4)themeasurement isinterruptedandthelastmea-
surementvaluedisplayed. Ifthe HOLDfunction is active,„HOLD“ isdisplayed.
- Press HOLD again to deactivate the HOLD function.
NCV function (non-contact voltage detection)
TheNCV function (non-contact voltagedetection) enables detecting the existence
of voltage on conductorswithout contact.The NCV sensoris installedat the endof
the current sensor.
Bring theNCVsensorintocontactwitha conductor.Ifthereisvoltage,theredillu-
minating diode lights up(2). Thisfunction is onlyactive whenthe meter isswitched
on.
