6. Never place the baby unit(s) inside the baby’s crib or
playpen. Never cover the baby unit(s) or parent unit with
anything such as a towel or a blanket.
7. Other electronic products may cause interference with
your baby monitor. Try installing your baby monitor
as far away from these electronic devices as possible:
wireless routers, radios, cellular telephones, intercoms,
room monitors, televisions, personal computers, kitchen
appliances and cordless telephones.
For better security and more stable connectivity , this baby monitor requires
connecting to a Wi-Fi network and operating in R outer mode connection.
Direct mode
Y our bab y monitor parent unit and bab y unit c onnect t o each other in Direct mode by default,
which allows you to immediat ely stream video out of the box.
It is NOT recommended to con tinue using Direct Mode c onnection after initial installation.
Y ou may e xperience reduc ed signal strength
if your par ent unit and bab y unit are f ar apart,
or ther e are obstructing factors, such as
internal walls, between them. Y ou have t o set
up Router mode to connect the units via your
home Wi-Fi network to impr ove the
connection between your par ent unit and
baby unit.
Rout er mode
Y ou are r equired to set up your monitor
in Rout er mode to enjo y live video
streaming via y our parent unit with an
enhanced connection. R outer mode
is the r ecommended mode for stable
connectivity .
Router mode uses your home Wi-Fi
network t o connect y our video monitor . It
supports live video str eaming through the
parent unit and smartphone app.
If you want to str eam live video r emotely
with y our mobile devic e, download and
install the MyVT ech Baby Pr o mobile app.
With the mobile app, your Wi-Fi router (not included) pr ovides Internet connectivity t o your HD
video monitor system. It serv es as a communicating channel between your bab y unit and mobile
device, allo wing y ou to monitor and/or control your bab y unit wherever y ou are. For more
details, see Download app for mobile access section in this quick start guide.

• When both paren t unit and app are vie wing the camera simultaneously ,
the video quality will be optimised t o deliver the best possible viewing result.

Connect the bab y monitor
• The r ec har ge abl e bat te r y in t he p are nt uni t is bu ilt-in .
• Use only the power adapt ors supplied with this product.
• Make sure the par ent unit and the bab y unit are not connected to an electronically controlled electric outlet .
• Connect the pow er adap tors in a v ertical or floor moun t position only . The adaptor prongs are not
designed to hold the weight of the parent unit and the bab y unit, so do not connect them to any ceiling,
under-the-table, or cabinet outlets. Otherwise, the adapt ors may not pr operly connect to the outlets.
• Make sur e the parent unit, the baby unit and the power adaptor cor ds are out of r each of children.
Charge the paren t unit battery before use
The parent unit operates on an internal r echargeable battery or AC power . T o continuously
monitor y our baby , keep the par ent unit connected to A C power .
• Befor e using the baby monitor for the first time, char ge the paren t unit battery f or 12 hours. When
the parent unit battery is fully charged, the battery icon becomes solid .
• The standby time varies depending on your actual use.
The parent unit turns on automatically after connecting to the pow er socket , and the
welcome scr een appears. Y ou can press Power o turn t he pa rent un it on or p ress a nd
hol d to turn i t off.
The battery icon indicates the batt ery status ( see the following table ).

Use the menu
Pr ess MENU on the par ent unit to enter the
main menu, choose a menu item, or save a
setting. Y ou can use the paren t unit menu
for advanced settings or operations, such
as to pla y or s top the bab y unit lullab y, or
adjust the bab y unit sound sensitivity .
