1. Place the wall mount brack et on a
wall and then use a pencil to mark
two holes in parallel. R emove the
wall mount br acket and drill tw o
holes in the wall (5.5 mm drill bit).
Notes
• Check for r eception strength and
camera angle of the baby unit befor e
drilling the holes.
• The types of screws and wall plugs you
need depend on the composition of
the wall. Y ou may need t o purchase
the screws and wall plugs separately to
mount your baby units.
2. If you drill the holes in to a stud, go
to step 3.
• If you drill the holes in to an
object other than a stud, insert
the w all plugs into the holes.
T ap gently on the ends with a
hammer un til the wall plugs ar e
flush with the wall.
3. Align the wall mount br acket and scr ews with
the holes in the wall as shown. Tight en the screw
in the middle hole first, so that the w all mount
bracke t position is fixed. Y ou can tighten the
other screw in the top hole.
3. Insert the scr ews into the holes and
tighten the scr ews until only 6.5 mm of
the screws ar e exposed.
4. Place the bab y unit on the w all
mount br acket , and then slide it
forwar d until it locks into place. Ali gn
the holes on the wall mount bracke t
with the scr ews on the wall, and slide
the w all mount br acket down until it
locks into place.
5. Y ou can maximise your baby unit’s viewing angles b y tilting the wall mount bracket.
Hold the bab y unit, and then r otate the knob in an anticlockwise direction. This will loosen the join t of the wall mount brack et.
Tilt your bab y unit up or down to adjust t o your preferr ed angle. Then, r otat e the knob in a clockwise direction to tighten the
joint and secur e the angle.

4. Place the bab y unit on the w all mount br acket ,
and then slide it f orward until it locks int o place.
Connect the power adaptor to the baby unit.

T o ensure that your HD video monitor is always at its best performanc e, the Par ent Unit
will promp t a message and ask you to updat e its software and the Bab y Unit’s firm war e
when ther e are new v ersions available. Select “No w” to r eboot the system, or switch off
and on the P arent Unit later to reboo t the s ystem in to the la test so ftware.

Connect your HD video monitor with home Wi-Fi network
• Y ou must connect your video monitor to your secur ed home Wi-Fi network in or der t o
rec eive the latest so ftware and firmwar e updates. T o set the Wi-Fi up, go t o:
> Congure Wi-Fi.

If you plan t o install your baby unit in a designated
location, and use your home Wi-Fi network to
connect y our video monitor , you need to test
which of your selected monitoring ar eas within the
house have good Wi-Fi signal strength. After y ou
have po wered on y our paren t unit, you can use
your parent unit’s Wi-Fi signal strength indicator
to assist in checking. Onc e you hav e identified the
suitable location, you can install your baby unit .
Adjust the distance between y our baby unit and
the Wi-Fi r outer if needed.
• Depending on surroundings and obstructing fact ors,
such as the effect distance and internal w alls have on
signal strength, you may experience r educed Wi-Fi
signal. T o improv e the Wi-Fi signal strength, adjust the
distance or direction of your parent unit. Check with
your parent unit again.

unit and the adaptors in a cool, dry place.

Why does the
baby monitor
not r espond
normally?
T ry the follo wing (in the order listed) f or common cure:
1. Disconnect the power to the baby unit and the parent unit.
2 . Wait a few sec ond s before connecting power back to the baby unit and the parent unit.
3. Turn on the baby unit and the parent unit.
4. Wait for the parent unit to synchronis e with the baby unit. Allow up to one minute
for this to take place.
why doesn’t the
baby unit and parent
unit power -on light
illuminate when the units
are switched on ?
Perhaps the parent unit is not connected t o the power . Insert the adapt or plug into the
parent unit and insert the adap tor in a wall sock et. Then, pr ess POWER to switch on the
parent unit to est ablish connection with the baby unit.
Perhaps the baby unit is no t connected to the pow er. Insert the adap tor plug in to the
baby unit and insert the adaptor in a wall socket . Then, slide the ON/OFF switch to
ON to switch on the bab y unit and t o establish connection with the paren t unit.
Why doesn’t my parent
unit charge while
connected to AC power?
Make sur e the power is no t contr olled by a electr onic wall swit ch.
The battery may be degraded through ext ended use or defective. See W arranty for
repair /replacement .
Why is my scr een in
black and white?
The screen is in black and white during night-time or in a dark r oom when the night
vision featur e is activated. This is normal.
Why do I get glare or
blurry displa y on my
screen when viewing my
baby at night?
During night-time or in a dark room, the surroundings and other interfering factors,
like lighting, objects, colours and back grounds may affect the image quality on y our
parent unit screen. Adjust the bab y unit angle or plac e the baby unit a t a higher level to
prev ent glare and a blurry display.
Why does the baby
monitor pr oduce a
feedback noise?
The parent unit and baby unit may be too close to each other .
• Move the par ent unit aw ay from the baby unit until the noise stops; OR
• Turn do wn the volume of your parent unit.
Why does the parent
unit beep?
The baby unit may be out o f range. Mov e the parent unit closer to the baby unit (but
not less than 1m ).
The parent unit may not have enough char ge for the par ent unit to perf orm normally .
Charge the ba ttery in the paren t unit until the battery icon becomes solid .
The tempera ture of your baby’ s room may be too high or too low.
Why does the parent
unit react t oo quickly to
other sounds ?
The baby unit also picks up other sounds than those of y our baby . Adjust the VO X
sensitivity le vel to a lower level or lo wer the parent unit speaker volume.
Why don’t I hear a
sound/Why can’t I hear
my baby cry?
The parent unit speaker volume may be too low . See Adjust parent unit speaker
volume to incr ease the volume.
Y ou may hav e set a low VOX sensitivity level. See A djust the sound sensitivity of the
baby unit to set to a higher level.
Why can’t I establish a
connection? Wh y is the

The baby unit may be out o f range. Mov e the parent unit closer to the baby unit (but

Other electr onic products and wireless pr oducts may cause int erference with y our
baby monitor. Try installing y our bab y monitor as f ar awa y from these de vices as
