MAINTENANCE
While maintaining and cleaning the
machine pull the plug from the mains-
socket. Never use water or other agres-
sive liquids to clean the machine. Clean
the machine by brushing it with a brush.
Keep the cord and the drill clean. Some detergents and
solvents, such as petrol and thinner, can damage or
dissolve plastic parts:
TROUBLESHOOTING
Below you will find a list of problems and possible solu-
tions to which you can refer if your drill does not func-
tion properly.
1. The drill becomes excessively hot.
The drill has been overloaded.
- Use the machine only for the job for which it has
been designed.
- Replace a dull drill bit with a sharp one.
The motor is defective.
- Contact your local Toledo dealer to have it repaired.
2. The battery is low soon after being recharged.
The battery was not properly charged and dischar-
ged.
- Try to repair the battery by recharging and dischar-
ging it several times.
The battery charger or battery is defective.
- Contact your local Toledo dealer to have it repaired.
The battery cells contain substances
(nickel-cadmium) that are harmful
to your health and the environment.
Have defective batteries disposed of
as chemical waste by your local
municipal sanitation department.

Bei der Akkubohrmaschine werden
Akkus mitgeliefert. Sollte der Akku
nicht mehr aufladbar sein, werfen Sie
diesen nicht in den Hausmüll, son-
dern entsorgen diesen als Sondermüll.

SPEZIELLE
SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
VOR GEBRAUCH DER MACHINE:
1. Kontrollieren Sie folgendes:
- Stimmt die Anschlußspannung des Ladegeräts
mit der Netzspannung überein? Ladegeräte mit
dem Vermerk 220 Volt können auch für Netz-
spannungen von 230 Volt verwendet werden.
- Sind das Schnur und der Netzstecker in gutem
Zustand, dauerhaft, nicht zerfasert oder
beschädigt?
- Stimmt die Spannung des Ladegeräts mit der
Speisungsspannung des Akkus überein?
- Stimmt die Spannung des Akkus mit der Spei-
sungsspannung der Akku-Bohrmaschine überein?
2. Verwenden Sie keine langen Verlängerungsschnü-
re für das Ladegerät.
3. Schalten Sie bei Blockieren in der Bohrstufe die
Maschine sofort aus.
4. Vergleichen Sie immer erst die maximal erlaubte
Drehzahl der Zubehörteile mit der Drehzahl der
Bohrmaschine.
5. Laden Sie mit dem Akkulader keine anderen
Akkus als den mitgelieferten Akku auf.
6. Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gehäuse des Akkus zu
öffnen und verbrennen Sie diese nicht. Hierbei
könnten sehr gefährliche Stoffe freikommen, oder
der Akku könnte explodieren.
7. Benutzen Sie das Akkuladegerät und den Netz-
adapter nicht in feuchter Umgebung.
