CARE AND CLEANING

ON WET HAIR. IT IS ONLY DESIGNED
FOR USE ON DRY HAIR.
When using this appliance for the rst time it is
advisable to experiment initially on an area of light
hair growth.
Changing attachments:
There are 5 dierent grooming attachments. A dierent
grooming attachment is tted to the groomer for each
type of grooming.
To change attachments:
Sideburn trimmer - trim to length:
The Sideburn trimmer attachment is used with the
adjustable comb tted to trim sideburns to an even
length.
Fit the Sideburn trimmer attachment.1.
Slide the comb into the groove on the Sideburn 2.
trimmer.
The comb has three click-stops in the groove, so can
be adjusted for dierent cutting lengths.
Push the comb fully onto the trimmer to cut to 2mm
cutting length. Move out by one click for 3mm.
Move out by two clicks for 4mm.
Hold the body of the 1.
groomer and twist
the attachment in
the direction shown
until the lock marks
line up as shown.
Lift the attachment 2.

Trimming nose/ear hair:
The nose/ear hair trimmer is used to trim hair from the
nostrils and ears.
Fit the nose/ear trimmer attachment.1.
Switch on the groomer. 2.
Place the tip of the Nose/Ear trimmer head 3.
assembly against the protruding hairs of the
nostrils or ears to cut and remove.
Warning: only use the trimmer to remove hair from
the areas listed. Do not insert the trimmer more than
0.5cm into the ear or nostril. Risk of injury.
Switch o after use.
Precision trimmer:
The Precision trimmer has a small trimming head and
can be used for detail trimming.
Fit the Precision trimmer attachment.1.
Switch on the groomer.2.
Carefully use the Precision trimmer to detail edges 3.
etc.
Pressing the Comb against the head, start by 7.
clipping the sides from the bottom of the head
upwards. Slowly move the Clippers up towards the
top of the head cutting small amounts at a time.
Repeat step 7 around both sides and the back of 8.
the head.
Clip the top of the head from front to back.9.
NOTE:- Do not push the clippers or force the clippers
through the hair.
Corded use:
The groomer may be powered by the charger if the
batteries are fully discharged.
Connect the charger cable directly to the charging
socket on the base of the groomer.
Plug the charger into mains power.
Switching on:
Press the switch lock. While holding the switch
lock, slide the switch up (towards the top of the
appliance) to switch on.
Switching o:
Slide the switch down to switch o the appliance.
Body groomer:
The body groomer can be tted with combs to trim hair
to 1.5mm, 2.5mm or 3.5mm lengths. Alternatively,
the groomer can be used without a comb to trim away
all hair and shave the body smooth.
Fit the body groomer attachment.1.
To trim to a set length, clip one of the three 2.
groomer combs to the groomer head.
The combs are marked with their cutting length.
Switch on the groomer.3.
Draw the groomer head across the skin, against 4.
the direction of hair growth.
NOTE: To shave where there is longer hair growth, use
the clipper or trimmer to trim the hair initially, then
use the body groomer to nish.
Cutting hair:
Fit the clipper attachment.1.
The cutting length is set by tting one of the two
supplied combs. Each comb is reversible so the two
combs oer four cutting lengths - 3mm, 6mm, 9mm
and 12mm. Refer to the table below to convert salon
grade numbers to mm cut length.

Choose a comb to give the cutting length you 2.

The combs are marked inside with their cutting
length - 3mm, 6mm or 9mm or 12mm.
Clip the comb onto the head of the clipper.3.
Check that the clips at the side of the comb are 4.

Before starting, comb the hair in the direction of 5.

Switch on the groomer.6.
Thinning hair:
The Thinning attachment can be tted to the clipper
to thin out thick hair after cutting, particularly at the
front of the head.
Switch o the groomer.1.
Fit the Clipper attachment without a comb.2.
Clip the Thinning attachment onto the clipper 3.
head.
Carefully use the clipper to thin out the front fringe 4.
area by combing the clipper head forward lightly
through the hair.
Take your time to avoid removing too much hair.
To contour the neckline and area around the
ears:
WARNING: The blades of the clipper attachment are
very sharp when unguarded.
CAUTION: Care should be taken when using the clipper
attachment without a comb tted as it will remove any
hair that comes into contact with the blades.
Switch o the groomer.1.
Remove the comb attachment.2.
Switch on the groomer.3.
Position the clipper attachment so that only one 4.
edge contacts the hair.
Slowly shape the hair around the ears and contour 5.
the neckline by positioning the blades against the
neck and moving downwards.
For nal trimming of the hair, fringe or beard, use 6.
scissors.
After use
When you have nished, switch o the groomer by
sliding the On/O switch to the ‘OFF’ position.
Always clean the blades after use.

DISPOSAL
Before disposing of this appliance, the internal
rechargeable battery must be removed for separate
disposal.
NOTE: This process is not reversible.
Disconnect the appliance from the charger.
Switch on the appliance and allow it to operate
until it stops (battery power is exhausted).
Switch o the appliance.
Remove the blade assembly by twisting it anti-
clockwise.
Use a at screw driver to remove the plastic
switching bar as shown below.
Remove the small black and white plastic parts as
shown below.
CAUTION: Once the battery has been removed,
take precautions to avoid any contact between the
terminals.
Dispose of the appliance and the battery separately in
accordance with your local recycling regulations.
Remove 2 screws from the bottom cover, then
remove the cover.
Pull out the mechanism from the top of the outer
casing.
Take out the circuit board and battery.
Use a cutter to cut o the battery from the circuit
board.
Be careful not to short circuit the battery.
