Do
● Read the instructions in this leaflet carefully and keep them within reach. Any commercial use,
inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no res-
ponsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
● Position the power cord carefully, whether an extension is used or not, so that guests can move
freely around the table without tripping over it.
● If the appliance is used in the centre of the table, keep it out of the reach of children.
● Ensure that the pan is stable, well positioned and correctly clipped to the appliance. Only use the
pan provided with the appliance or bought from an Approved Service Centre.
● Use the pan only on its specially designed holder not to damage it. (e.g.: do not use it in an oven,
on a gas or electric hob, etc.).
● If an accident occurs, rinse the burn immediately with cold water and call a doctor if necessary.
● Cooking fumes may be dangerous for animals which have a particularly sensitive respiratory sys-
tem, such as birds. We advise bird owners to keep them away from the cooking area.
● Always use a plastic or wooden spatula to preserve the coating of the fondue pan.

● Never leave the appliance plugged in when not in use.
● To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place it in a corner or against a wall.
● Never place the appliance directly on a fragile surface (glass table, tablecloth, varnished furniture,

to the oil. - We recommend using sunflower,
groundnut or vegetable oil. - Do not use oil with
added ingredients (e.g. herbs). When washing-
up the fondue pot, ensure that you rinse and dry
it thoroughly, before re-using.
