4.4 Setting of the timer and stopwatch
Stopwatch
•
Press the OVEN/TIMER button.
•
Timer and 0:00oo appear on the above display.
•
Press the START/STOP button and the count up process starts.
•
▲ flashes on the display.
•
With the START/STOP button you can stop and restart the counting.
•
▲ stays /flashes on the display.
•
Press the STD and MIN button at the same time to reset the timer.
•
▲ disappears on the display.
Count Down Timer
•
Press the MIN or STD button to adjust the minutes (max. 59 minutes) or the hours (max. 9
hours).
•
▼ appears on the display.
•
Press the START/STOP button.
•
▼ flashes and the process starts.
•
With the START/STOP button you can stop (▼ stays) and restart (▼ flashes) the counting.
•
After the interval, the display flashes and three short alarm signals will sound each second
(until 20 seconds) will sound.
•
▼ and ▲ flash simultaneously on the display and the seconds are counted up.
•
Press any button to stop the alarm.
•
The seconds still are counted up and ▼ and ▲ still flash.
•
Press the START/STOP button to stop the counting.
•
Press the MIN and STD button at the same time to reset the timer.
•
▼ and ▲ disappear and 00:00oo appears.
5. Care and maintenance
•
Clean the instrument and the probe with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scour-
ing agents. Protect from moisture.
•
Should water or steam enter the socket, it could affect contact with the probe. Dry the
plug connector with a cloth before you connect it to your instrument.
•
Turn off the instrument after use.
•
Remove the battery if you do not use the instrument for a longer period of time.
•
Keep the instrument in a dry place.
5.1 Battery replacement
•
Replace the battery when the display becomes weak or the alarm level declines.
