5. As soon as the blades stop, remove the jug from the base. Remove the lid to check the contents or to
carefully push down solid or thick ingredients with a wooden or plastic spoon.
However, if you wish to add further ingredients, remove the measuring beaker from the mixing jug lid. Add
the ingredients to the jug and replace it. If required run the appliance for a few seconds more until the
contents have reached the required consistency.
6. Now remove the mixing jug from the base and take off the lid of the jug.
Liquid contents – from drinks, soups up to thickly flowing dough – can be poured out of the jug.
Clean the jug immediately after use according to the instructions on pages 41–43 (Cleaning and care).

Motor overload protection button
The Solis blender is fitted with motor overtemperature
and overload protection. If an overload occurs, the
appliance switches off automatically.
If an overload occurs that trips the protection, unplug
the power cord and let the appliance cool down
for at least 10 minutes. Then press the overload
button (RESET button), which is located underneath
the blender base. (See Fig. 5) The blender is now
ready for operation again.
Cleaning and care
CAUTION: wear suitable cloves when working with
hot liquids. Take care not to burn yourself on the
mixing jug, or to scold yourself with liquids or steam
that splashes or runs over.
CAUTION: never use hard or sharp edged utensils,
caustic agents (disinfectants, scouring agents or pot
scourers) or scouring agents to clean the appliance
or the components. Do not use force when cleaning
the blade assembly in order not to bend the blades or
damage the bearing. Never clean the appliance or
parts in the dishwasher.
