1. Using AC power
Before connecting the AC power c ord, please make sur e the power supply is 230V .
Insert one end of the AC power cord into the AC sock et on the rear of the unit and
the other end into a standard wall socket.
2. Using batteries
Insert 6 x "C" size batteries (not included) in the battery compartment on the bottom
of the unit by matching the polarities.
The unit will not operate on battery power when the AC power cord is plugged into
the AC socket.
Replace batteries when the power indicator dims, the volume decreases or the sound
distorts.
Use batteries of high quality and check them regularly . Alkaline batteries are
recommended.
Do not mix new batteries with old or used batteries.
Use only batteries of the same brand and type.
Batteries should not be left in the unit if they are e xhausted or if the unit is not to be
used for a long period of time as they may leak and damage the unit. Battery l eakage
is not covered under the warranty .
You c an use headphones with 3.5mm diameter stereo plug and an impedance of 32
Ohms. When the headphones are connected, the speakers ar e disconnected auto-
matically .
Set the VOLUME to a low l evel before using headphones and graduall y adjust the
volume dial to the comfortable lis tening level.
Do not play the VOLUME too loud for e xtended periods of time to avoid any damage
to your hearing.

Connecting to a Headphone
1. Slide the Function Selector (USB/CD OFF RADIO) switch to radio.
2. Select AM, FM by sliding the Band Selector switch to corr esponding position.
3. Tune the desired s tation by turning the Tuning Contr ol.
4. Adjust the volume with Volume dial as desir ed.
6. Set the Function Switch to the CD/OFF position to stop radio.
CD Operation
PLAY/USB/STOP
1. Press the PLAY/USB butt on once to start playing (Some discs will start playback
automatically). The current playing track number appear s on the LCD panel.
2. Press the PLAY/USB butt on twice to stop playing temporarily during playback.
The current track number is flashing while pausing.
3. Press the PLAY/USB butt on again to resume normal playback.
4. Press the STOP button to s top playing.
NOTE: T o remove disc from CD play er, always press STOP and wait f or complete stop.
REPEAT mode
1. Press the MODE button once to r epeat playing the current track only .
2. Press the MODE button twice to r epeat all tracks.(Repeat ALBUM in MP3 mode)
TRACKING mode
1. To go back to the beginning of curr ent track, press the button onc e.
2. To go back to the pr evious tracks, press the butt on repeatedly .
3. To go to the ne xt track, press the button once or r epeatedly to play your desir ed
track.
RANDOM PLAY
1. Press the MODE button thr ee times to start playing the disc in a random order .
(Repeat ALL in MP3 mode)
PROGRAM/ALBUM PLAY
1. Press the PROGRAM/ALBUM button at stop mode. Pr ess the button to select
the desired track number, and then pres s PROG/ALBUM./RPT to confirm.
2. Press the PROGRAM/ALBUM button at play mode. Pr ess the button to select
the desired album number, and then press PROG/ALBUM t o confirm.
3. Repeat step 2 to set up to 18 tracks.
4. Press the PLAY/USB butt on to start playing the programmed tracks.
5. To canc el the program play, pres s the STOP button.
INTRO PLAY
Press MODE button four times f or INTRO playback, in which the tracks will be played
several seconds in sequence as a intr oduction.
(Random playback in MP3 mode)
Slide the Function Selector to the USB/CD position and insert a CD disc.
Slide the Function Selector to the USB/CD position and insert a CD disc.
4. To fast backw ard/f ast forw ar d through the disc, press and hold the button.

1. Press and hold PLAY/USB f or usb playback, the audio tracks stored in USB stick will
be played in sequence automatically .
2. Press and hold PLAY/USB again f or CD playback. The LCD will display CD/MP3
playback screen.
Slide the Function Selector to USB/CD position and insert a USB drive.
3. Press STOP to st op playback. LCD will display total number of tracks and total
playback time. (In MP3 mode, LCD show total number of tracks only)
USB&STOP MODE
Cares of Disc
Handle discs by their outer edges and /or the center spindle hol es to prevent
fingerprints and scratches.
Do not bend or press the disc. Do not expose the disc to dir ect sunlight or heating
sources.
To r emove stains or fingerprints from the surf ace of a disc, use a soft, lint-free,
and dry cloth. Wipe in straight movements fr om the center of the disc to the
outside. Do not use any chemical products, as they can damage the disc.
Do not write on or attach labels to the surface of the disc.
To minimize e xposure to dust and dirt. Replace discs in their cases after use.
Store each disc in its case, out of direct sunlight, high t emperature and humidity .

Should your player develop a pr oblem, please check below befor e requesting service.
* Check if the power cord has been properl y connected to
the power outlet.
* Be sure to select a sound sour ce.
(CD, AM/FM etc.)
* Unplug the main unit, and then reconnect it.
This allows the unit to reset itself after a power sur ge or
power interruption.
* Increase the volume.
* Disconnect any headphones.
* No disc. Load a disc.
* Disc has been loaded upside down. Place the disc with
the label side up.
* Disc is damaged or dirty . Clean the disc or try another
one.
* Moisture may be condensed inside the player . Remo ve
the disc and leave the unit power on for one or two
hours.
* Disc is incorrect type for the player .
* You may be in an area of weak signal c overage.
