7.2 SET-UP DISPLAY
For each charge or discharge parameter there is a separate set-up menu with an asso-
ciated screen display. You first have to select the
parameter to be changed using the ‘+’ or ‘-’ button;
the corresponding line is indicated with an arrow at
the right-hand margin. Pressing the ‘ENTER’ button
starts the set-up procedure. At the right-hand mar-
gin you will see an alternating ‘+’ and ‘-’ symbol;
using the ‘+’ or ‘-’ buttons you can now enter a new
value for that parameter. Press the ‘ENTER’ button
to conclude the setting process. The sequence of
screen displays reproduced here is a typical exam-
ple, and shows the method of altering the charge
current.
7.3 SETTINGS IN MANUAL MODE
The following settings have to be entered manually before a charge or discharge process
can be started in manual mode; this ensures that the charger is able to work through the
process efficiently when in this mode:
• Battery memory
• Battery type
• Cell count
• Battery capacity (or battery voltage for LiPo, LiIo, LiFe and Pb)
• Charge current
• Discharge current
• Beeper (OFF, 1 - 5)
Note:Only values in the first line can be changed when the arrow symbol is flashing.
