Basic jumps
Basic jump (stretching jump):
1. Begin in a standing position, with feet spread to the
width of the shoulders, head upright with a view to
the bounce mat.
2.
Arms reaching forward, then swing them up in a cir-
cular motion.
3. Bring your feet up into the air and point the tips of
the toes downward.
4. When landing on the bounce mat, hold the feet to
the width of the shoulders.
Knee jump:
1. Begin with a flat, stretching jump.
2. Land on your knees, thereby holding your back
straight and your body extended. Position the arms
so as to maintain balance.
3. By swinging the arms upward, jump back to the ori-
ginal jumping position.
Sitting jump:
1. Land in a flat sitting position.
2.
Prop yourself up with your hands next to your hips.
3. By applying pressure with your hand return to an
upright position.
