Carrier.
Safety and user-friendliness played an important role in
developing the Quinny Zapp Bike Carrier.
To ensure that the Zapp Bike Carrier is used properly, we
recommend that you take the time to read through this in-
struction manual carefully. The Zapp Bike Carrier can only
offer optimum safety if used according to the instructions.
Continuous research by our product development depart-
ment, the use of test panels and consumer feedback ensure
that our products are always kept up-to-date in the field
of child safety. If you have any questions or comments on
the use of the Zapp Bike Carrier, please do not hesitate to
contact us.
General Instructions
• Only use the Zapp Bike Carrier for the Quinny Zapp
pushchair.
• The Zapp Bike Carrier may be used with almost any type
of child bicycle seat and/or carrier strap.
• The Zapp Bike Carrier fits on virtually any bicycle with a
luggage carrier.
• Always set the stand on the bicycle before hanging the
Zapp pushchair on the Zapp Bike Carrier.
The left and right sides are as seen from the back of the
bicycle.
• Only mount the Zapp Bike Carrier to the right side of
your luggage carrier.
• Make sure the Zapp pushchair is fully folded before han-
ging it on the Zapp Bike Carrier.
• Always use the elastic band to secure the Zapp pushchair.
• Only use the assembly tools and parts provided.
• In some cases, you may not need to use all parts supplied.
Save all unused parts in the box provided.
• Check often to make sure the Zapp Bike Carrier is
securely fastened.
• Keep in mind that your bicycle will be unstable when
hanging the Zapp pushchair or removing it.
• Keep in mind that the Zapp Bike Carrier protrudes with or
without the Zapp pushchair.
• Never transport your Zapp pushchair on the Zapp Bike
Carrier while the bicycle is in a bike carrier mounted to a
car.
• Inspect and clean the Zapp Bike Carrier frequently with a
damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleansers or lubricants.
• Use original accessories and manufacturer-approved parts
only.
• Do not make any changes to this product. If you have any
problems or complaints, contact your retailer or importer.
• To avoid the risk of suffocation, keep all plastic packaging
materials out of the reach of children.

ons contained in this manual could result in serious

• You are personally responsible for the safety of
you and your child.
WARNING
• Do not use the Zapp Bike Carrier as a step or sup-
port when sitting on the back of the bicycle.
WARNING
• Never use the Zapp Bike Carrier to pull or drag
anything or anyone.
WARNING
• Do not hang anything except the Zapp pushchair
on the Zapp Bike Carrier, as this makes the bicycle
less stable and increases the risk of tipping over.
WARNING
• Always secure the Zapp pushchair with the elastic
band.
WARNING
• Keep small parts away from children, as they pose
a choking hazard.
WARNING
• Even after meticulous testing and research, it can-
not be ruled out that your bicycle could become
damaged as a result of using the Zapp Bike Carrier.
Warranty:
Dorel Netherlands guarantees the safety of this product
and that this product is free from all defects in work-
manship and material at the time of purchase. If this
product shows material and/or workmanship defects after
purchase or during the warranty period (with normal use
as described in the instruction manual), Dorel Netherlands
will assume the responsibility to repair or replace it. The
warranty period is 12 months. Normal wear and tear that
can be expected with daily use of this product is therefore
hereby excluded.
The warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:
• The product is not supplied to the manufacturer together
with the original sales receipt.
• The defect is the result of incorrect or negligent use, or
maintenance that is contrary to the instructions given in
this manual.
• Repairs have been carried out by third parties.
• The defect is the result of using non-original parts.
• The defect is the result of overloading.
• The product has been involved in a “collision”.
• The stated warranty terms and conditions have not been
satisfied.
Date of effect:
• The warranty period goes into effect as of the date of
purchase of the product.
Warranty term:
• The warranty is for a period of 12 consecutive months.
The warranty applies solely to the original owner and is
non-transferable.
