Hints for use
Shower fryer
The appliance can be used as a shower fryer.
The oil/liquid fat pump starts spraying the hot
oil or liquid fat over the basket cover when the
oil or the liquid fat has reached the required
temperature. The oil or the liquid fat is spread
over the entire surface of the basket cover and
flows through the holes over the food.
If the deep-frying process is completed, the
oil/liquid fat pump stops spraying. Since the
food is not constantly immersed in oil or liquid
fat, the food will absorb less oil or liquid fat.
Place the appliance on a stable and flat
surface.
Assemble the appliance for use as a shower
fryer. Refer to ”Assembling the appliance”.
Fill the removable pan with approximately
0.5 litre of oil or liquid fat. Make sure that
the oil/liquid fat level is between the
minimum mark and the maximum mark on
the heating element (fig. C).
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
The appliance beeps shortly. The digital
display shows the time and the temperature.
Remove ice from frozen food and dry the
food to avoid splashing of hot oil or liquid fat.
Fill the basket with the food. Place the
basket cover onto the basket. Place the
basket into the appliance.
Place the lid onto the appliance.
Set the deep-frying temperature.
Consult the food packaging for the required
temperature.
Set the deep-frying time. Consult the food
packaging for the required time.
Switch on the appliance. The digital display
starts to count down when the oil or the
liquid fat has reached the required
temperature.
Note: It is not possible to adjust the time
during the process. To adjust the time, switch
off the appliance, adjust the settings, and
switch on the appliance again.
