Note: if the battery does not fit properly, disconnect it and confirm that the
battery pack is the correct model for this charger as shown on the
specification chart. Do not charge any other battery pack or any battery
pack that does not securely fit the charger.
1. Frequently monitor the charger and battery pack while connected
2. Unplug the charger and disconnect it from the battery pack when finished.
3. Allow the battery pack to cool completely before using it.
4. Store the charger and battery pack indoors, out of reach of children.
NOTE: If battery is hot after continuous use in the tool, allow it to cool
down to room temperature before charging. This will extend the life of your
batteries.
8.2 Removal / insertion of battery (Fig. 2)
WARNING: Before making any adjustments ensure the hedge trimmer is
switched off or remove the battery pack.
▪ Hold the tool with one hand and the battery pack (6) with the other.
▪ To install: push and slide battery pack into battery port, make sure the release latch on the
rear side of the battery snaps into place and battery is secure before beginning operation.
▪ To remove: Press the battery release latch and pull the battery pack out at the same time.
9 ASSEMBLY
WARNING: Switch off and remove battery from machine before adjusting or
cleaning!
9.1 Installing the blower tube(Fig. 3)
To install the long blower tube (8), push it onto the blow outlet (7) until you hear a ‘click’.
9.2 Removing the blower tube (Fig. 4)
Depress and hold the lock button (1), and pull the blower tube (8) outwards and remove it,
10 OPERATION
10.1 ON/OFF switch button (Fig. 5)
The tool will continue to blow for a few seconds after being switched off. Allow the motor to
stop rotating before switching “on” again. Do not rapidly switch off and on.
▪ Connect the battery pack to the cordless blower and ensure it firmly.
▪ To switch on the cordless blower, press the lock-off button (2) and squeeze the ON/OFF
switch trigger (3).
▪ When you release the switch trigger (3), the tool turns off.
WARNING: Before inserting the battery pack in the tool, always check to
see that the ON/OFF trigger switch actuates properly and returns to the
“OFF” position when released. This can cause switch breakage. Operating
