AIR CONDITIONER OPERATIONS AND PERFORMANCE
Compressor protection feature
Power failure
Power failure during
operation will stop the unit completely. The OPERATION lamp on the
indoor unit will start flashing when po
wer is restored. To restart operation, push the
ON/
OFF button on the r
emote controller.
Lighting or a car wir
eless telephone op

the ON/OFF button
on the remote con
troller to restart it.
This feature protec
ts the compressor. This feature prevents the compress
or from being activ

ated for approximately 3 minuets when it restart immediate
ly after operation or restore power
again.
Heating feature (cooling only type without)
Preheating operation
The air conditioner will not deliver warm
air immediately afte
r it starts. Warm air flows ou
t
after approximately
5 minutes when the indoor heat exchange warms up.
Then the PRE-DEF
lamp is off.
Warm air control
When the room temperature reaches th
e set temperature,
the fan speed is automatically
reduced.
Defrosting
If the outdoor unit is
frosted during heat
ing operation, defrost starts automatica
lly (for app-
roximately 5 10 minutes) to maintain the heating effect, the PR
E-DEF lamp is on and the
fans of the indoor u
nit and outdoor unit stop running.
Heating capacity
During heating ope
ration, heat is absorbed from outdoor and released into the
room, that is
so-called heat pump system. When the outdoor temperatur
e is too low, the temperature of
indoor unit outlet wi
ll fall.

Temp.
NOTE: 1. If use your air conditioner beyond above-mentioned conditions, protection
function of air conditioner may work which may result in malfunction.
2. When the air conditioner is operated under cooling mode at the place
with high humidity (relative humidity 80%) it may attract condensation and cause
dripping. In this case turn the vertical louver to the position where the outlet is
maximum (normal to the horizontal direction) and the fan speed is set High .

stalled reliably.
Select the position for the outdoor where it will
not be subject to snow drifts, accumulation
of leaves or other seasonal debris. It is importan
t that flow for the outdoor unit is not impe-
ded as this will result in reduction in heating or cooling performance.
Please leave the indoor unit more than one me
ter away from the TV and the
radio in order
to avoid the picture and noise interference.
Powerful radio transmitters or any other devices
radiating high frequency radio waves can
cause the air conditione
r malfunction. Please consult the dealer where y
ou purchased the
air conditioner before installing it.
Do not fix the unit in the dangerous region with
combustible gas or vola
tile matter.
If the air conditioner is
operated in an atmosphere containing oil (machine oil), salt near a
coastal area, sulfide ga
s near a hot spring etc, such substances may
lead to corrosion of
the air conditioner and reduce its operation life.
While cooling operation
the air conditioner get
the wet air out of the room. Consequently,
install a pipe connecti
ng the pipe of the indoor unit to pipe all seep
er out.
The cooling and heating unit defrosts in heat
ing progress automatic
ally. The water from
indoor unit defrosting will flow out through und
er pan. Therefore install th
e outlet pipe acc-
ording the installation g
uide.

ed the ground wiring, please don
t change freely.
If need be, use the power fuse or the circuit, bre
aker of the corresponding scale ampere.

If the supply cord is dam
aged, it must be replaced by the manufacture or its service agent
or a similarly qualified p
erson in order to avoid a
hazard.
Please fix the unit in the stable place to avoid th
e noise or vibration.
Locate the outdoor unit where noise emitted by it or hot air from air outlet will not cause
nuisance to your neighbours.
If the air conditioner so
unds abnormal during operation, contact the d
ealer where you pur-
chased the air conditioner.
If you move out or if it is
desired to relocate the air conditioner, consult you dealer, because
special skill to withdraw
refrigerant, purge air and perform other operatio
