PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
Eachindividualapplianceischeckedatthefactorybut,for
safety’s sake, after unpacking, check carefully that your
appliance has not been damaged during transport.
• Checkwhetherthereisanyvisibledamage(e.g.inthe
form of dents or similar), if the door closes properly,
and if the hinges are in order.
• Iftheapplianceappearstohavebeendamaged,
contacttheshopwhereyouboughtit,anddonotuse
it until it has been checked by an authorised specialist.
• Beforeuse,checkthatyouhaveremovedalltransport
packaging inside and out.

Setting the clock
1. Pressthe“Preset.Clock”(c)buttononce.display
shows“0:00”.
2. Sethoursbyturningthe“TimeWeight/AutoCooking”
(g)selector,andpress“Preset.Clock”(c).Turnthe
selector once more for minutes.
3. Pressthe“Preset.Clock”buttontocompletethe
setting.
Inserting the glass turntable
Beforeuse,ensuretheglassturntable(4)iscorrectly
seatedonitsspindle(3)andturningring(2).Thethree
dowelsontheglassturntableshouldtinbetween
thethreedowelsonthespindle.Thethreerollerson
the turning ring should run in the circular track on the
underside of the glass turntable.
Before using for the rst time
Asmallamountofsmokeandsmellmaybeemittedwhen
theapplianceisusedforthersttime.Thisisduetooil
residue from manufacture and is neither abnormal nor
hazardous.Smellscanbeeliminatedbystartingthegrill
programmeandlettingitrunforafewminutes.Smellsand
smoke should disappear as a result. Repeat the procedure
if this is not the case.
