Never place RAM cells in the device if the function switch is at
the NiMH or NiCd position. This could lead to the discharging
of the batteries and therefore to damage to the device.
Labelling of the Battery Types
Rechargeable batteries are labelled in accordance with the IEC
Norm in Europe. Labels taken from the American ANSI Norm
exist apart from this.
The micro, mignon, baby, mono and block size labels are the
most usual. The following Table will give you an overview of
the most usual size and type labels that can be recharged
with this charging device:

No general IEC type labelling can be established for
rechargeable 9V block batteries. The typical 6F22 label for
non-rechargeable block batteries is frequently used for them.
