PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
1. Temperature will not reach the setting
on the dial.
1. Keep the lid closed.
2. Adjust the damper on the chimney to more
open or more closed.
3. Change the control dial to a higher or lower
temperature setting.
4. Excessively hot, cold or windy conditions
can keep the grill from reaching the desired
setting. Move grill to a more protected area.

1. Pellets not reaching the fire pot
1. Verify there are pellets in the hopper.
2. Verify auger is rotating.
3. If there are pellets in the hopper and the
auger is turning, it may take up to 5 minutes
for the pellets to reach the fire pot.
4. If the auger is not rotating, check the auger
for jams and clear.
5. If the problem cannot be resolved contact
the manufacturer.

1. Pellets building up and fail to ignite.
1. Remove excess pellets and clean ash from
the fire pot and ignitor rod area.
2. If the problem cannot be resolved contact
the manufacturer.

1. Lid hinge movement is not smooth. 1. Add cooking oil to the moving pins
and pivoting bolts on the hinge.
2. If movement is still not smooth, check
hexnuts to make sure they are not too
tight. Lid movement should be without
