n Never leave the appliance unattended whilst connected to the power supply, even if for a few moments,
especially where children are present.
n Do not let the power cord hang where children may reach it.
n Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply when not in use.
n Never disconnect the plug by pulling on the power cord.
n Do not use your appliance if it does not operate correctly, if it has been damaged or if the power cord
or plug is damaged. To maintain safety, these parts must be replaced by a Krups Approved Service
Centre.
n Any intervention other than normal cleaning and maintenance by the customer must be performed by
a Krups Approved Service Centre.
n For you own safety, only use KRUPS accessories and spare parts, which are especially designed for
your appliance.
n Do not attach accessories for different functions simultaneously.
n Make sure that the appliance is correctly assembled before you plug it in.
n Always disconnect the appliance from the power source if you leave it unattended,
whenever you intend to put it together, take it apart, clean it, or in case of a power cut.
n Never touch moving parts (blades…).
n Precautions must be taken before emptying or cleaning the sharp blades (B2, B3, E2), mincer and
blender head (B). They are extremely sharp. Fig. 1
n The power cord must never be placed near or come into contact with the hot parts of the appliance,
sources of heat or sharp corners.
n Do not let long hair, scarves, ties, or any other object hang over the appliance or any of its
accessories while they are in use.
n If your appliance stalls while you are using it, press the stop button, disconnect from the
power supply and clear any obstructions, taking care not to injure yourself with the blades.
n Your appliance is equipped with an thermal cut-out. In case of overheating, your appliance
will turn off automatically. Disconnect the appliance and let it cool down for about 20
minutes, then resume use.
n Stop the appliance and disconnect it from the power source before you change any accessories or
come near any mobile parts
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
n In order to prevent injury to yourself and to others, and to avoid damaging the appliance, do not touch
the whisks or blades, and do not insert any objects (knife, fork, spoon, etc.) into the accessories. You
may only use a spatula, as long as the appliance is turned off.
n In order to avoid damaging the appliance, never place it or any of its accessories in the freezer, in a
traditional oven or in the microwave.
n This appliance and all its accessories are designed for the preparation of food only. They must not be
used for mixing other products.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove the accessories from the packaging and clean them with hot water.
Dry carefully.
