Read the instructions for use carefully before using your appliance for the first time: use that
does not conform to the instructions will release Krups from all responsibility.
n This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been
given instructions beforehand concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
n Please check that the supply voltage of your appliance corresponds to your electrical installation before
plugging it in. You may damage the appliance or cause injury to yourself if this is not the case.
n Any error in connection will cancel the terms of your warranty.
n Your appliance is intended solely for domestic, indoor use.
n To avoid electric shocks, never use the appliance with wet hands or on a damp or wet surface. Avoid
wetting the appliance’s electrical components. Never immerse them in water.
n To prevent accidents, this product must not be used by children or by any persons not having read the
instructions first.

n The appliance must be unplugged when no longer in use, during cleaning or in the event of a power cut.
n Do not use your appliance if it is not working properly or if it has been damaged. Please contact your ap-
proved Krups centre (see “Krups Service Stations” leaflet).
n Turn off and disconnect the appliance before changing the accessories or handling parts that move
when in operation.
n Any maintenance other than routine cleaning and upkeep by customers must be carried out by an
approved Krups service centre.
n Never place the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
n Store the power cord out of the reach of children.
n The power cord must not be placed near or come into contact with the hot parts of the appliance,
sources of heat or sharp corners.
