1. Turn the oven off and remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
2. Keep the inside of the oven clean by wiping with a damp cloth. If heavily soiled a mild detergent solution may be used, but
harsh detergents and abrasives will damage the oven, as will attempting to remove dirt with a knife.
3. The outside of the oven can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
4. Do not allow the control panel to become wet. Clean it with a soft , damp cloth and do not use detergent or abrasives.
5. If condensation accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe it with a soft cloth. Condensation is quite
normal and forms when moisture is present during cooking.
6. Ensure that the door seals and adjacent parts are kept clean by wiping with a damp cloth. If the seal is damaged in any
way the oven must not be used until it has been repaired by a Kenwood Authorised Repairer.
7. It is occasionally necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning. Wash the tray in warm sudsy water, then rinse and dry
thoroughly.
8. The roller ring and oven cavity floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Simply wipe the bottom surface
of the oven with mild detergent and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. The roller ring may be washed in mild sudsy water and
dried thoroughly. Be sure to replace the roller ring in the proper position if it has been removed for cleaning.
9. Remove odours from your oven by combining a cup of water with the juice and skin of a lemon in a deep microwavable
bowl. Microwave for 5 minutes and then wipe the inside of the oven, and dry with a soft cloth.
10. Inspect the oven regularly for signs of corrosion - particularly round the door. If you find any signs of corrosion arrange for
the appliance to be serviced.
