About ten seconds after the last pushing of a button, the current room temperature is
shown on the display again. When the time arrives for which you have programmed the
timer-function, your thermostat will switch back to the normal program.
Please note: if the temperature on which the thermostat should resume its normal
program is set after 0:00 hrs, then the indications “01” and VAKANTIE will appear in
the display. Also, the abbreviation of the next day will be shown blinking.
Cancelling the holiday/timer-function
Press button START PROGRAMMA once. The thermostat resumes its normal personal
program. In the display the time, room temperature, period and day will be shown.
SWITCHING SUMMER- / WINTERTIME
Switching from Summer- to Wintertime and back again
Switching from Summer- to Wintertime and back again can be done with the special
switch or by simply punching in the new time (see also: SETTING THE RIGHT
DAY/TIME).
Press button ZOMERTIJD/WINTERTIJD and keep pressed for a few seconds. In the
display you will seefirst the time and indication of the season. Then the indication for the
new season appears blinking. Also, the time moves back or forward with 10-minute
increments.
As soon as the right time appears and the season-indication stops blinking, you can let go
of the button. After a few seconds, the display switches back to showing the temperature
and the current period. The Chronotherm IV will now follow its usual program.
SETTING A STEADY TEMPERATURE
Steady temperature-setting for an undetermined period of time/manual control
(‘Temperatuur Continu’)
This function turns your programmable thermostat into a ‘normal’ one. In this mode, your
program is being ignored in favour of a temperature you can set with the buttons
WARMER and COLDER. This function can come in handy when you are gone for a
certain period of time and don’t know when you come back, and still wish to maintain a
certain temperature.
- Press TEMPERATUUR CONTINU once. In the display you will see CONT and
INSTELLING and the current temperature setting.
- Use WARMER and COLDER to set your desired temperature. After a few seconds, the
current temperature comes back on the display.
