Cassette (TAPE)
í Please always eject the cassette by pres-
sing the

button before switching
off the radio. This will save the cassette.
Selecting the TAPE programme source
Insert a cassette into the cassette compart-
ment.
The display indicates "TAPE A" or "TAPE B".
Changing the cassette side
Press the
¡
t
and
¡
s
buttons slightly at
the same time. At tape end, the cassette side
changes automatically.
Indications in the display:
"TAPE A" - upper cassette side.
"TAPE B" - bottom cassette side.
Fast forward and rewind
Activate the function:
Press the
¡
t
or
¡
s
button until it locks
in place. “(( WIND” or “WIND ))” appears after
approximately 1.5 s in the display.
ǺǺ While a cassette is wound forward or re-
wound, you can listen to the radio or play
a CD. For this, press the
¢¢
RADIO or
¢¢
CD/TAPE button.
Cancelling the function
Press the
¡
t
or
¡
s
button halfway in.
Cassette play is automatically started.
Terminating cassette play
Press the
¡
ɯ
button fully down.
The cassette will be ejected.
General notes
ǺǺ The unit is optimized for CR (chromium
dioxide) cassettes.
ǺǺ With traffic radio (TP) activated, cassette
play will be interrupted during traffic
announcements.
To abort a traffic announcement:
briefly press the
¢¢
TP button.
