Room monitor
You can use your handset as a room monitor. If the
noise in the room exceeds a certain level, the handset
automatically calls a second handset.
When the room monitor function is switched on, no
calls will be indicated on the handset.
Calls made while the room monitor is switched on will
be automatically ended after two minutes.
Note:
This function is only an additional monitoring aid. It
should never be relied on as monitoring equipment
for medical purposes. This function should only be
used as a baby phone in conjunction with regular
checks on the child by the parents.
Switching on the room monitor
1 Open the menu by pressing the »Menu« function
button on the right.
2 Select »Settings« with »

with the »OK« function button on the right.
3 Select »Handset Set.« with »

»OK« function button on the right to activate.
4 Select »Room Monitor« with »

the »OK« function button on the right to activate.
5 Enter the handset number with »1« to »5«.
– Display: »Room Monitor on«.
Switching off the room monitor
1 Press the »Menu« function button on the right.
2 Switch off by pressing the »off« function button on
the right.
