Storing RDS programmes in the LEARN
memory
With the push of a button you can store up to 24 RDS programmes
in the LEARN memory. You may call up these stored programmes
one after the other either manually (RDS-SCAN) or automatically
(AUTOSCAN).
1 Press »U III« to select the desired FM memory level (I-III).
2 Press the »LRN« button briefly.
– Indication in the display: »LRN« and, e.g. »87 60«
(scrolling).
– When the learn function is completed, the RDS programme
with the best reception quality is heard.
Note:
If the traffic announcement standby (TP) is activated, only RDS
programmes with TP are stored in the learn memory.
Manual programme selection
1 Briefly press »<« or »>« once or several times.
– Indication in the display: »RDS SCAN«, then the name of the
found programme.
Automatic programme selection
1 Press the »RADIO« button until the signal sounds.
– Indication in the display: briefly »AUTOSCAN«, then the fre-
quency, and finally the name of the found programme.
– All stored RDS programmes are indicated one after the other
for about ten seconds each.
2 If you wish to continue hearing a called up programme, briefly
press the »RADIO« button.
– Indication in the display: briefly »RESET«, then the pro-
gramme name.
– Automatic programme selection is ended.
