– In order to ensure good reception of the radio signal, do not place
the weather station next to large metal objects or electrical devices,
such as televisions, computers, monitors or similar. NOTE: If the wea-
ther station is put into operation, it will start to seek the DCF signal
after 7 minutes (the first 6 minutes are required for reception/pro-
cessing of the weather data). The signal is sought for 10 minutes. If
the synchronisation is not successful, a new attempt will be made to
receive a signal every 2 minutes. If necessary, change the position of
the station (e.g. to the window), if it has difficulties with reception.
– In order to start reception of the radio signal manually, press Search
(7) and - (1) for approx. 3 seconds, until a beeping tone sounds and
the antenna symbol starts to flash.
Manual time setting CLOCK 1 / Date / Time zone
NOTE: The Max/Min button (5) can be used for fast forward counting.
Press - (1), in order to select between a 12-hour or 24-hour display. The
12-hour display is identified with PM during the second half of the day.
– Hold Mode (4) pressed for 3 seconds, in order to reach the manual
time-setting mode.
•ThedisplayCLOCK 1 appears and the hour display begins to flash.
– Press + (2) / - (1), for setting the hours.
– Press Select (6), to reach the minutes setting.
– Press + (2) / - (1), to set the minutes.
•WiththeSnooze/Light button (3), you can set the seconds to 00.
– Press Select (6), in order to reach the “day” setting.
– Press + (2) / - (1), to set the day.
•Theindicationofthedayoftheweekisautomaticallysetafterentry
of the date.

table on Page 83 After entering the zone code, the updating of the
display can take up to one minute!
– The setting is ended by pressing Mode (4) repeatedly, until none of
the number displays are flashing anymore or no button is used for
one minute.
Setting the summer/winter time
– Keep Mode (4) pressed for 3 seconds, in order to reach the manual
time-setting mode.
– Press Select (6) repeatedly, until you reach the entry of the zone
code.
– Press the Snooze/Light button (3), in order to switch between sum-
mer and winter time.
•SummertimeisidentifiedwithDST(DaylightSavingTime).
– The setting is ended by pressed Mode (4) repeatedly until none of
the number displays are flashing anymore or no button is used for
one minute.
Caution: Do not carry out this manual setting between 11:00 p.m.
and 1:00 a.m., as the date will not be changed.
