Intended use
This petrol-driven borehole drill is designed exclusively for drilling circular holes in soil
(clay, topsoil, sand, etc.). These can be, for example, holes for planting small trees,
holes for placing fence posts, or similar. The petrol-driven borehole drill may only be
used in the vertical position (drill downwards).
Do not use an ice drilling attachment until you have checked the thickness of lakes,
ponds, and rivers with the local authorities.
Sufficient protective equipment must be provided during use following the user manual.
Only drills suitable for the device, as specified in the user manual, may be used. Part of
the intended use is also reading the user manual before working, observing the safety
instructions (user manual/device), and the operating instructions in the user manual.
Persons who operate and maintain the device must be familiar with this device and with
possible dangers. Also, the applicable accident prevention regulations and national
occupational safety regulations must be observed and complied with. The use of other
components and attachments on the petrol-driven borehole drill leads to the exclusion of
the manufacturer's liability and the resulting damage to property and persons. This
device is only intended for use in open areas (garden) and must be held with both hands
while working.
Improper use
This petrol-driven borehole drill must not be used for drilling in stone or rock and in
areas where electrical lines, gas pipes, water pipes, or telephone lines are laid
underground.
The user/operator and not the manufacturer is liable for damage or injury resulting from
misuse.
Correct safety instructions must be followed. DON'T EXPOSE YOURSELF OR OTHERS TO
DANGER. Follow these general safety instructions:
● Always wear safety glasses for eye protection. Long hair must be tied back. Do
not wear loose clothing or jewelry that may get caught in moving parts of the

● Check the entire device for loose parts (nuts, bolts, screws, etc.) Service or
replace them, if necessary, before using the device. Do not use accessories with
this drive head other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Otherwise,
severe injury to the user or bystanders and damage to the device may result.
