6. VEDLIGEHOLDELSE
Ved vedligeholdelse og reng ring af pen-
geskabet skal batterierne altid fjernes.
Brug aldrig vand eller andre væsker tilat
rengøre pengeskabets elektriske dele med.
Brug aldrigletantændelige væsker til
rengøring af pengeskabet.
UDSKIFTNING AF BATTERIERNE
- Der bruges fire 1,5 volts batterier (type D, LR20)
tilpengeskabets forsyningsspænding.
- Når den røde lampe begynder at blinke, skal batte-
rierne udskiftes. Herefter skal der indprogramme-
res en ny kode.
- De kan afprøve batterierne ved at trykke på tast
“B”. Hvisden røde lampe begynder at blinke i det
samme, skal batterierne udskiftes. Hvis der ikke
sker noget, efter at De har
trykket på “B”, er batterierne i orden.
- Hvis batteriernes ladetilstand er utilstrækkelig,
skal batterierne udskiftes inden for en måneds tid.
- Når den r de lampe lyser og begynder at blinke,
skal batterierne udskiftes inden for en måneds tid.
- Åbn pengeskabet ved hjælp af koden eller den spe-
cielle nøgle.
- I dørens venstre inderside er der en lille forskyde-
ligeklap. Bag ved klappen er de fire batterier place-
ret i en plasticbeholder.
- Udskift de fire 1,5 volts batterier (type D) med
nye.
- Anbring klappen igen i den oprindelige position.
- Nulstil nu koden ved at trykke på den røde knap på
dørens inderside.
- Programmér nu koden som beskrevet i kapitel 5.
- Pengeskabet er nu igen klar til brug.

7. FEJL
Hvis pengeskabet ikke virker som det skal, kan neden-
nævnte mulige årsager og tilhørende råd til afhjælpning
være praktiske.
1. Pengeskabet kan ikke åbnes.
Der er indtastet en forkert kode.
- Se kapitel 5 for at åbne pengeskabet.
2. Pengeskabet kan ikke programmeres.
Kontrollér batterierne:
- Udskift batterierne, om nødvendigt.
Den røde lampe blinker:
- Udskift batterierne.

CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE YOU USE THE SAFE!
1. INTRODUCTION
The safe is suitable for putting away valuables from
theft. It has no fire proof construction and is therefore
not fire safe! In case of fire the safe can be opened by
the emergency key. Consult, if necessary, your supplier.
2. SAFETY RULES
1. Don’t place the safe in a humid room.
2. Use the safe for its intended purpose only.
3. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycling raw materials is prefered to dumping them
as waste. To prevent the machine from being damaged
during transport its packing must be strong. Insofar as
possible the packing consists of recyclable materials.
Because recycling is better for the environment, we
suggest you use as much as possible the recycling
methods.
Your safe contains batteries. Never
waste the batteries when they are
empty, but hand them in as "Small
Chemical Waste".
4. INSTALLATION
INSTALLING THE SAFE
The safe can be placed anywhere.
However, if use wish to make use of the optimal safety
features, the safe can be placed on a shelf or in a cup-
board.
Mark 4 holes on the base. Then drill 4 holes in the base
and place the bolts in the holes. You can then place the
safe on them and tighten the nuts inside the safe.
Do not immure the safe! In case of break in
transmission Ferm B.V. cannot be hold
responsible for the costs made for detaching
the safe.
5. USING THE SAFE
First, open the door of your safe, without turning rota-
ry knob before you start to program your safe. Remo-
ve the adhesive tape from the doorlock, place the bat-
teries into battery holder and proceed directly with
the programming of your code into the memory.
HOW TO PROGRAMM THE SAFE
- Press the mode reset button situated on the inside
of the door, causing the yellow indicator to illumi-
nate. You will hear two short beeps, indicating the
pre-set code has been erased.
- You can now enter a new code of 12 digits maxi-
mum, followed by the letter “B”,
OPENING THE SAFE
-You can open the safe by entering the code after
which the green indicator will illuminate.
You have 5 seconds to open the safe. When you
have entered the wrong code three times in suc-
cession, you will be unable to open the safe for 20
seconds. Should you once afain enter the wrong
code, you will have to wait 5 minutes before trying
to unlock the safe. After entering another wrong
code you will be unable to unlock the safe for at
least one hour.
LOCKING THE SAFE
Closing the door and turning the selector knob anti-
clockwise will lock the safe.
EMERGENCY KEYS
- These keys allow you to open the safe at all times,
even when the batteries are run down or when
you have forgotten the code.
- The key hole is situated behind the cover plate or
sticker between the button and the coding key-
