Installation
1.1 Connecting to the power supply. The packing
machine will operate as long as your refrigerator
is connected to the power supply. Follow the
installation instructions in your refrigerator’s
instruction manual.

Use
2.1 Vacuum packing. Open the drawer of the packing
machine (2.1.1) and lift up the packing lid (2.1.2); the
LED will light up to tell you that the machine is ready.
If one minute passes without any operation being
carried out, the LED and the packing machine will
turn off; to reactivate, lift up the lid again (2.1.2). On
the packing machine there is a space beneath the
work tray where you can keep pre-prepared bags.
Lift up the work tray to access them (2.1.3).
Fill the bag with the food to be packed (2.1.4).
Place the open part of the bag in the packing area,
making sure that it does not protrude over the end
piece (2.1.5).
Lower the packing lid (2.1.6), press it down gently
and press
(2.1.7).
The machine will vacuum pack and seal the bag.
When fi nished, lift up the packing lid and remove the
bag.
You can stop the vacuum packing and sealing cycle
at any time by pressing
.
Warning: To prevent the machine from becoming
damaged through continuous use, it is fi tted with
a locking system that stops it after 15 consecutive
operations; it will remain locked for 10 minutes. If
you turn off the refrigerator or there is an interruption
in the power supply, the packing machine will
remain locked for 10 minutes before operating
again.
2.2 Other functions of the packing machine
Super seal. This can be used to seal thick bags
or those which are diffi cult to seal. To activate/
deactivate, press
for 3 seconds with the lid
up.
Vacuum packing containers. It is possible to
vacuum pack containers and similar recipients; to
do this you must connect the container accessory
to the vacuum tube (4.2) and to the container and
press
. The vacuum process will start and
will stop automatically when completed.
The sealing operation remains deactivated
when containers are being vacuum packed. The
accessory for vacuum packing containers is not
included with the packing machine.
Non-vacuum packing. You can pack a food
product without having to vacuum pack it; to do
this, follow steps (2.1.1 to 2.1.5) and press
twice consecutively (2.2.4). The machine will skip
the vacuum packing operation and will just seal
the bag.
Replacements. The machine has been
designed for the exclusive use of embossed
bags of between 95µ and 150µ. Under no
circumstances can the vacuum be achieved
with bags fi ner than 95µ.
You can obtain replacements for your packing
machine at technical support service from Fagor,
both individual bags and on a roll. The bags on a
roll must be prepared beforehand. To do this, cut
them to the desired bag size with some scissors
(2.2.1) and place one of the open ends in the
sealing area, making sure that the bag does not
protrude over the end piece (2.2.2). Lower the
packing lid (2.2.3), press it down gently and press
twice consecutively
(2.2.4). The bag will
now be ready for use.

Maintenance and
cleaning
It is very important to keep the packing area
clean at all times. The machine could suck in the
remnants of liquids or solids, damaging the pump
and its internal components. Clean the packing
area after each use (3.1).
When you have fi nished, clean the packing area
and the work tray (3.1, 3.2).

Troubleshooting
The machine will not vacuum pack
• Check that the bag has been properly inserted into
the packing area and that it is not protruding over
the end piece (2.1.4).
• Change the bag; it may have a hole in it.
• Check that the piece of foam rubber on the lower
part is properly in place (4.1).
• Check that nothing is obstructing the vacuum tube
(4.2)
The machine will not seal
• Check that the joins are properly in place on the
machine (4.1).
• Increase the sealing time. Press
for 3
seconds.
Do not tamper with the packing machine to try
to repair it. Call the technical support service.
