The DryBest dehumidifier can also be operated using an app on your smartphone. The
dehumidifier must be connected via a Wi-Fi modem. See the back of the booklet for instructions
on how to install the app.
Operating
1. Insert the plug into an appropriate socket, in accordance with the specifications on the type
plate. Only connect the appliance to an earthed socket. Secured with a 30 mA earth
leakage switch.
2. Press the ON/OFF button; you will hear the compressor and fan go on and the air outlet
open. (the ‘power’ light will go on and stay on). The device starts working. Both displays (top
and front) show the air humidity in the room.
3. You can use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the desired air humidity, from 30% to 90%
(intervals of 5%). Both displays will show the set air humidity for a few seconds and then the
current air humidity. Once the set level has been reached (+/- 2%), the compressor will stop;
the fan continues to run. The dehumidifier thus keeps the air in the room moving and is
therefore able to feel the humidity and to catch on again in time. If the air humidity rises to
3% over the set value, the device will restart.
4. Press the ON/OFF button again to switch the device off again.
5. Make sure that you then remove the plug from the socket after use.
Protection of the compressor
If you have switched the appliance off (or if it has switched itself off), then it cannot be
switched on again for 3 minutes, this is to protect the compressor. The fan does work
but the compressor does not and the green light above the on / off button flashes.
Maintenance
Always unplug the unit from the mains before carrying out any maintenance or
cleaning of the unit.
Cleaning the body
Use a soft cloth to wipe the unit clean. Don't ever use volatile chemicals, gasoline,
detergents, chemically treated clothes, or other cleansing solutions. These all could
possible damage the cabinet .
