5. Supporting vehicles (Fig. 1)
Extend the three side feet (1). Secure the folding
mechanism (8) using the split pin (7).
Slide the center column (3) into the center tube
(6) and secure it at the required height using the
retaining pin (5). It is essential that you secure
the retaining pin (5) with the split pin (2).
Ensure that the vehicleʼs handbrake (“P” on
automatic gearboxes) is engaged and that the
wheels are chocked.
Jack up the vehicle following the instructions for
the jack (obey the safety instructions for the
jack).
Position the axle stands under the vehicle at the
points provided for it, observing the safety
instructions (section 1).
Slowly and evenly lower the vehicle on to the
axle stands. The load-bearing points must be
positioned centrally on the support area (4). The
axle jacks must be in a secure and upright
position.
Warning! It is essential that you obey all the
instructions. Danger of serious damage and personal
injury. Always place the load on the center of the
axle stands.
6. Storage (Fig. 1)
When you remove the retaining pin (5) hold the
center column (3) securely and lower it into the
center tube (6).
Remove the split pin (7) and fold up the axle
stand again.
7. Maintenance
Oil all the moving parts every six months.
Check the retaining pin and the split pins to
ensure that they are in perfect working order.
8. Disposal and recycling
The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent it
from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in
this packaging can be reused or recycled.
The equipment and its accessories are made of
various types of material, such as metal and plastic.
Defective components must be disposed of as
special waste. Ask your dealer or your local council.
