Cleaning and Storage
ATTENTION!
! Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down com-
pletely before doing any cleaning"
! Never immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains plug in water or other liquids"
! Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These can damage the surface.
• Clean the device if necessary with a slightly damp cloth and a little mild detergent if
required.
• The cover can be washed in the washing machine. Observe the following care in-
structions when you do this:
40 °C delicate wash Do not bleach
Do not dry in a tumble dryer Do not iron hot
Dry cleaning with perchloroethylene, hydrocarbons (normal)
Do not use fabric softener.
Wash separately or with the same colours.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before you put them away.
• Store the device after cleaning in a clean, dry place that is protected from sunlight
and is not accessible to children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective
electrical device yourself!
Problem Possible cause / solution
The device does not
work. The operating
lamp (6) does not
light up.
• Is the plug inserted in the socket correctly?
• Is the socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
• Is the device switched on? Move the controller (4) to a time
or to the ON position.
Unusual noises.
• Are the ventilation slots (3) covered up or blocked? Free up
the ventilation slots (3).
