R-symbol (3)
The R-symbol indicat es that the random function is activated. The
R-symbol stands for Random. With this function, the device switches
the connected appliance on and o at dier ent intervals.
S-symbol (3)
Indicates that the clock has been changed t o daylight saving time .
Operating mode display (4)
Indicates the operating mode of the devic e.
A distinction is made between the following operating modes:
AUT O = Automatic program oper ation
ON = Continuous oper ation ON
OFF = Continuous oper ation OFF
Program number display (15)
Displays the program number in the PROGRAM function.
Time display (16)
Displays the time (hour , minute, second).
LED function indic ator light (17)
The LED function indicator light lights up when the timer is swit ched
on ("ON" is displayed in the sta tus display) and the appliance can get
power .

PREP ARING THE DEVICE
In order to start using the device, you ha ve to:
1. Charge the device.
2. Reset all settings.
3. S et the current time .
Charging the devic e
1. Inser t the plug (10) into a 230 V socket.
2. The device battery is now being charged.
- 10 minutes = minimum waiting time
- 14 hours = battery is fully charged
Resetting all settings
Once the battery is charged, the device does not ha ve to be plugged
into a socket .
1. Briey press and then release the "R" key (7) with a ballpoint pen or
another pointed object.
2. Wait 5 seconds until the time 0:00 00 is displa yed.
Set the current day of the w eek and the cur-
rent time
1. Press the "PROG/+" (13) and "Minus" (5) keys at the same time to
display the time.
2. Press the "SET" key (14) for at least 2 seconds t o set the clock. T he
day of the week ashes .
3. S elect the day of the week with the "PROG/+" (13) or "Minus" (5)
key and conrm with the "SET" k ey (14).
4. S elect the hour with the "PROG/+" (13) or "Minus" (5) key and
conrm with the "SET" key (14).
5. S elect the minutes with the "PROG/+" (13) or "Minus" (5) key and
conrm with the "SET" key (14).
The seconds cannot be set.
OPERA TING THE DEVICE
The functions are ex ecuted from the highest priority to the low est.

If there is a pause of at least 30 seconds during set-up , the current
mode is terminated aut omatically and the current time is displa yed
again. Then activate and c ontinue the mode again.
Pressing the "PROG/+" (13) and "Minus" (5) k eys at the same time
terminates the curr ent mode and the current time and curr ent day of
the week are displa yed.
Setting the switching programs
•
Notes:
Make sure tha t the w w of the programmes do not ov erlap to av oid
unintentional switching on and o . The OFF progr am takes priority over
the ON program.
Before activating the progr am, the timer must be in AUT O mode and
the RND and CD functions must be deac tivat ed.
A maximum of 10 programs can be set . Set the switch-ON and OFF time
of the program.
Setting the switch-on time
Switching pr ogram number 1.
1. When the time is displayed, briey pr ess the "PROG/+" key (13). The
"1 ON" program menu is displa yed (progr am no . 1, ON).
2. Briey press the "SET" key (14). The "MO" day of the w eek ashes.
Select the day of the week or the day blocks with the "PROG/+" (13)
or "Minus" (5) key .
3. Briey press the "SET" key (14). The hour number "0" ashes. Select
the hour with the "PROG/+" (13) or "Minus" (5) key .
4. Briey press the "SET" key (14). The minute number "00" ashes .
Select the minute with the "PROG/+" (13) or "Minus" (5) key .
5. Briey press the "SET" key (14) to conrm the switch-on setting.
6. Specify additional settings or end the mode by pressing the
"PROG/+" (13) and "Minus" (5) keys.
Setting the switch-o time

1. When the time is displayed, briey pr ess the "PROG/+" key (13). The
"1 ON" program menu is displa yed. U se the "PROG/+" key (13) to
select the "1 OFF" switch-o time.
2. S et day(s) of the week, hour and minut e as described in "Setting the
switch-on time" , points 2 to 5.
3. Specify additional settings or end the mode by pressing the
"PROG/+" (13) and "Minus" (5) keys.
Setting the switching program number 2 to 10.
1. Press the "PROG/+" key (13) repea tedly until the requir ed program
number is displayed , e.g. "2 ON" .
2. S et day(s) of the week, hour and minut e as described in "Setting the
switch-on time" , points 2 to 5.
Setting operating modes ON/A UTO/OFF
The "MANU AL " key (6) is used t o switch the power supply of the
appliance on or o . In automatic mode, it is used to apply the set
programmes .

Note:
When the mode is switched from ON t o AUTO , the timer retains the ON
setting until the next program is ex ec uted.
With the ON setting , the red LED function indicator light is lit (17)
Random function
The random function results in a random swit ch-on duration of 10 to
31 minutes during the period from 18:00 t o 6:00. The "RND" k ey (12)
(Random) is used to switch the random function on or o . When the
function is switched on, "R" is displayed in the L CD display .

Note:
The random function cannot be set during the PROGRAM and
countdown setting .
Count down function
The count down function applies for the period
0-99 hours / 0-59 minutes / 0-59 seconds.
The timer with the ON setting is switched on during the coun tdown
and switches itself o at the end .
The timer with the OFF setting is switched o during the coun tdown
and switches itself on at the end .
The mode must be set to " A UT O" and the random function is switched
o .
1. When the time is displayed, briey pr ess the "MINUS" key (5). "CD"
is shown in the status display .
2. Briey press the "SET" key (14). "ON" or "OFF" is ashing.
3. Press the "PROG/+" (13) or "Minus" (5) key and select the
countdown mode f or the switch-on/o time (ON / OFF).
4. Briey press the "SET" key (14). The hour number "0" ashes. Select
the hour with the "PROG/+" (13) or "Minus" (5) key .
5. Briey press the "SET" key (14). The minute number "00" ashes .
Select the minute with the "PROG/+" (13) or "Minus" (5) key .
6. Briey press the "SET" key (14). The second number "00" ashes .
Select the second with the "PROG/+" (13) or "Minus" (5) key .
7. Briey press the "SET" key (14) to conrm.
8. Briey press the "5" key (8) to activate the coun tdown function. The
current running "C ountdown" time is shown in the display .
By pressing the CD k ey again, the countdown st ops and the set
countdown time is r estored.
By pressing the CD k ey again, the countdown starts again.
12/24 hour display
Press the "CD" (8) and "SET" (14) k eys at the same time to switch
between 12-hour display ( AM/PM) and 24-hour display . AM is 0-12
o' clock and PM is 12-24 o'clock.
Setting daylight saving time / win ter time
Press the "MANU AL " (6) and "SET" (14) keys at the same time to switch
between daylight saving time and win ter time. When switching to
daylight saving time , "S" is shown in the LCD displa y and the time
shown is 1 hour later . When switching to winter time , "S" disappears
from the L CD display and the time shown is 1 hour earlier .

The digital weekly timer is used t o switch the pow er supply to the
connected appliance on and o and is adjustable.
The device is only int ended for use in closed, dry rooms and only for
private use . The device ma y only be operated on a stand-alone basis.
