- Sent MMS are stored by default on the product:
Select “MMS parameters” and “Mem:” to choose “Phone memory” or “Not saved”.
For information:
- Received SMS are always in the SIM card,
- Received MMS are always in the phone.
You can always save your messages in the “Archive”. They will then be stored in the phone.
6.4.4 Create a distribution list
In the “Parameters” folder, select “Distribution list”, confirm with key, then name the group. You
can now enter the phone numbers for the members of your new distribution list.
6.4.5 My favourite
Enter the number or email of your favourite contact. Then, when you want to send a message, select
“Send” and “My favourite” directly without searching in the contact list.
6.4.6 My e-mail
Enter your own e-mail address (if not entered yet under the option “My e-mail” of the “Contacts” menu,
see page 28) to be able to easily send images, pictures, sounds, ... by MMS to your computers.

6.4.2 MMS Parameters
• MMS profiles (“Profile”)

: To set your MMS profile, follow the same procedure as for setting your
WAP connection (see page 58).
• Mode: choose between immediate, deferred or restricted reception for national and international
network coverage (see page 30).
• Delivery report (“Rpt:”): request for acknowledgement of receipt for each message sent.
• Message validity (“Val:”): the time period during which attempts to send the message to the recipient
will be repeated in case of failure.
• Memory (“Mem:”): to store your sent messages.
• Timer: sets the speed at which the pages scroll through: the recipient will see the message at this speed.
• Filters: Anonymous MMS filtering: to receive or not anonymous messages
• Layout configuration: choose between display: image first then text or text then image.
6.4.3 Saving parameters
You can change the saving parameters for your messages:
- Sent SMS are saved by default in the phone memory:
Select “SMS parameters” and “Mem:” to choose “SIM memory” or “Phone memory”, or “Not
saved”.
