for a longer period of time.
When you use the CHILLER MODE of the Freshness Box, it is recommended to
set the temperature of the fridge to less than 4

When you use the CHILLER MODE of the Freshness Box, the storage time of fresh
food in this box should not exceed three days.
The CHILLER MODE of the Freshness Box is not suitable for a long-term
storage of fresh food such as meat, fish, etc.
❖ The CRISPER MODE is particularly suitable for short-term storage of fruit and
vegetables.
❖ The CRISPER MODE maintains a suitable temperature and humidity in the
Freshness Box for optimal storage of fruit and vegetables.
4.8 Door alarm
❖ The appliance is equipped with an automatic alarm which indicates that the fridge
door (upper door) of the appliance is opened for a longer period of time.
1. If the fridge door is opened for more than 90 seconds, an acoustic warning signal
sounds.
2. Close the door(s) properly to stop the acoustic warning signal.
NOTICE! In order to save energy a prolonged opening of the doors should
be avoided.
4.9 Power failure
❖ In the case of a power failure, the current settings will be secured and maintained.
❖ If the appliance is supplied with power again, it continues to work with the
settings adjusted before.
❖ Max storage time in case of malfunctions: s. chapter TECHNICAL DATA.
In the event of an unforeseen power failure:
➢ reduce the opening frequency of the doors.
➢ do not put any new food in the appliance to avoid a rapid rise of the
temperature inside the appliance.
